For the owner and his family and friends, who are in love with that classic Eldorado, that was a real 'Transmission Drama'... They miraculously 'recovered' their Eldorado which was given up for 'lost'!...
That was 3 years ago... They still have their priceless car TODAY - and running in all 3 gears!

above, a word of caution:
All transmissions conditions could vary significantly and there can sometimes be exceptions and limitations to the above described typical results. Such exceptions would be transmissions with broken mechanical parts, internally or externally, as well as the completely worn out transmissions with totally burned out bands. Additionally, the 'CVT' type transmissions (Continuously Variable Transmissions) such as in some Nissan models, are not applicable at all, due to the transmission core design... being totally different from the standard 'planetary' type transmissions.
