Those
INTERNAL Engine Oil leaks can be from two 'sources' :


- The most frequent source of
INTERNAL OIL LEAK is from the top of the cylinder head, through the space between the Valve Stems and the worn-out Valve Stems Seals. This is due to the fact that, in spite of being made now-days of some very tough and extreme temperatures resistant, high strength synthetic materials (such as Teflon, or similar) these Seals will wear out first.
The only other remedy in this case would be a very expensive 'Valve Job', requiring the removal of the Heads and complete rebuilding of them in an Automotive Machine Shop - if they are not cracked... And if they can be 'resurfaced' ... Or are not warped more than 5 thousands of an inch (typically)...

CONCLUSION: VERY EXPENSIVE - IN MANY CASES POSSIBLY PROHIBITIVELY TOO EXPENSIVE!


- The second source of
INTERNAL OIL LEAK is from the Lubricating System itself, where the oil under pressure penetrates through the space between the worn-out piston rings, and the cylinder walls ... First through the 'lubricating type' piston rings, and subsequently through the 'compression type' piston rings.
And the only other remedy in this case would be an even more 'very expensive' complete
