What a predicament! Discovering this fact, after removing the Transmission, or the Engine, (or both!?) that now the engine has to be completely dissasembled, so that the Crankshaft End can be RE-GROUND can end up costing more than replacing the entire Engine!

So, from the Oil Pan or Crankcase Gaskets, to the Timing Chain Cover Gaskets, even the Cam Seals, and sometimes even an external Oil Leak from the side of the Head Gaskets is not uncommon either...
In short, en engine can start to LEAK OIL from just about ANYWHERE, and at ANYTIME!
